The Gateway Online Group on Canvas LMS was created to provide a supportive network and help you identify resources at Texas State University (TXST) and Lamar State College Orange (LSCO). You'll have access to:
Gateway 2.0 allows eligible Gateway students to continue taking courses through Lamar State College Orange (LSCO) while remaining enrolled at Texas State University. The program helps students continue making progress toward their Texas State degree by earning transferable credits and earning hours for an LSCO associate degree through co-enrollment.
Gateway students who successfully meet program requirements (after two long semesters) are invited to participate in Gateway 2.0. Generally, students who have not completed their 42 hours of core curriculum coursework can still co-enroll with LSCO as part of this program. Students who have completed their core curriculum or lower-division coursework may not have coursework remaining to enroll in with LSCO and may not be eligible for Gateway 2.0. Yes. Gateway 2.0 participants remain Texas State students as long as they are also enrolled in TXST courses. You will continue to have access to your Texas State student account, email, advising support, and other university resources.

As a co-enrolled student, you are enrolled at Texas State University while also taking approved courses through LSCO. Credits earned at LSCO are evaluated and applied toward your Texas State degree requirements according to established transfer and articulation guidelines.
