About the Initiative

The Strategic Initiatives Office is expanding global opportunities for TXST students through Hub Programs—short-term study abroad experiences where students earn credit while spending 3 weeks living and learning overseas. With a balance of structured class time and free time outside of class, students can explore and create authentic international experiences.

TXST students and faculty with questions about the Hub Programs should reach out to emayers@txstate.edu.

  • Programs go abroad in the summer 2026
  • 3 weeks abroad at program location
  • 30 - 40 students per program
  • 2 - 3 TXST professors on the program, each teaching 1 course
  • Students earn credit for 1 course
